IIDR Team

Charlene Kawchak-Belitsky, RN, BSN, NHA brings more than 17 years of long-term care experience to her position as MPRO’s IDR Manager. Currently, she leads the management of Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) services in assigned states. Previously she was responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating remediation services for nursing homes statewide as MPRO’s Project Manager for Remediation. At MPRO, she also was a Patient Safety Coach as part of work for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) and functioned as a resource and liaison for MPRO's community partners and stakeholders, with a goal of promoting quality improvement and patient safety.

 

In previous positions, Ms. Kawchak-Belitsky oversaw skilled nursing and senior housing operations for a multi-facility corporation and reported to the Chief Executive Officer. She managed daily operations, representing some 950 residents and patients. While serving as the Administrator for a 215-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF), she oversaw the renovation of two major projects ($1.5 million total), while keeping customer satisfaction levels high and maintaining the census at budgetary levels. Ms. Kawchak-Belitsky has also held several senior nursing leadership positions such as Director of Nursing and Director of Quality of Assurance.
