MPRO's communications department responds to media inquiries and disseminates news about MPRO's’ services and initiatives. MPRO does however protect the names and privacy of patient cases under review, as well as information pertaining to our collaborators. MPRO is under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and we adhere to federal guidelines regarding patient confidentiality as outlined by the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
